Digital Workforce kick starts the year with five new business wins

Across the UK the Intelligent Automation (IA) leader helps major healthcare, local government, and global professional services to automate critical business functions

Digital Workforce, the leading provider of intelligent automation (IA) services, has made a rapid start to 2022 adding five significant business expansions and extensions as a number of public and private sector organisations seek to drive automation within their operations.

With 73% of organisations worldwide using automation technologies1, and 64% using some form of automation-as-a-service2, UK companies and public sector providers are exploring how they can benefit as well. In healthcare, Digital Workforce has worked closely with a partner, PSTG, to expand automation programmes with University Hospital North Midlands (UHNM), University Hospital Birmingham and Portsmouth Hospitals University. A Value Acceleration Programme reviewed 90 Processes at UHNM, prioritising and delivering across the Clinical and non-Clinical departments of the trust. An automation at Portsmouth HU was a recent finalist in the prestigious HSJ Awards – receiving recognition for Automating Ambulance Handovers for Faster, Safer and Less Stressful Patient Information Processing. This critical process is now receiving Run Management Support from the Digital Workforce Continuous Services team.

Elsewhere, M8 Consulting Customers Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, Bradford District Care Mental Health Trust and Wigan Council along with professional services giant Arup have all engaged Digital Workforce to provide consultancy to help them identify and deliver automation initiatives to support strategic objectives. Digital Workforce’s expertise in improving automation adoption with an independent mindset is proving appealing to organisation seeking to introduce Digital Workers, and their intrinsic skills in quick, accurate and data-rich delivery to an overwhelming workload.

Leon Stafford, Digital Workforce UK Country Manager, said

“The breadth of our engagements highlights both our extensive practical knowledge, and our understanding of how complex organisations can use IA to tackle a variety of challenges. We have seen a rapid increase in interest as more people seek to reap the benefits of automation, while also being aware of the need for experience and expertise. At the same time, our ability to offer IA as-a-service is attractive to customers increasing embracing consumption-based models of procuring technology support.”

Stafford said “To support our customers tackle their challenges at scale, we need to work with like-minded partners who can provide similar levels of guidance and expertise. Building these relationships is critical, and our success to date has been driven by our close links with other leading businesses.”

Digital Workforce recently completed an initial public offering, listing on the Nasdaq First North Growth Market, and has targeted growth in the UK and Ireland as a key part of its global priorities and rapid growth.
